This apparatus for the determination of rust preventing characteristics of inhibited mineral oil in the presence of water, following ASTM D 665 – IP 135 – ISO 7120 standards. The benchtop case houses a dry block heater or a stainless-steel tank, along with support for the stirrer motors. Each position is equipped with an independent motor, allowing users to utilize single positions and keep the motors of unused positions turned off.

This apparatus is available with either an oil bath or an aluminum block, offering flexibility to meet different needs. The enamel finished benchtop steel case ensures durability, while the stainless-steel tank or aluminum block heater includes jackets for glassware. The electric stirrer, along with the stainless-steel shafts that can be lifted to insert the glassware, ensures efficient operation.

The microprocessor thermoregulator with PID action and built-in digital display provides precise temperature control with 0.1°C accuracy. Safety features include a device against overheating and low-level protection in the versions with an oil bath. The easy access control box contains all the electronics and features an anodized aluminum control panel with English written indications.
